I predict record profits for the oil companies until the next administration comes in and tells them they need to stop screwing the public.

I wouldn't say I was *paying* it. I managed to get my car to go the rest of the way to Monterey where I paid $3.05/gal. I saw gas there for $2.89/gal on the other side of town (but my car wasn't going to make it that far).
